This was my first engagement shoot at Horsetooth Reservoir. . . and definitely not my last! It was just gorgeous! Bethany & Scott were so fun to work with! They are so natural in front of the camera, making my job a piece of cake! On top of that, they are one of the cutest couples in Fort Collins! I can't wait to photograph their wedding in 2 1/2 weeks!

Ryan, Jenna Dee Detro, & I had such a blast photographing Allison & Joel's wedding at Red Rocks Country Club. They are such a wonderful couple! Allison looked absolutely gorgeous and sweet Joel was so excited to claim her as his bride. Their wedding party was hilarious and so fun to work with! It was an amazing day. . . although it threatened to rain, the weather held off and provided an amazing backdrop of stormy clouds.

A good friend from childhood, Jenna Dee Detro, & I recently reconnected to find that we were both pursuing careers in photography. Jenna Dee's current focus is on children & families (and web design) but I convinced her that weddings are the BOMB! So she flew up to photograph Allison & Joel's wedding with Ryan & I. We also spent some time snapping picks at our ranch & Rocky Mountain National Park. We've come a long way since our high school photography elective 13 years ago. I shot the above pics to "punish" sweet Jenna Dee for snapping the photo (below) of me at the top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park. I'd prefer that the world didn't know what a raging dork I am. . . I guess it's too late for that! :) Ha ha!

Tricia & Jeff | Wedding

Last Saturday, Ryan and I drove up to Estes Park to photograph Tricia & Jeff's wedding at Aspen Lodge in Estes Park. They met at a country western bar in California when Tricia approached Jeff (who was appropriately wearing a cowboy hat) and asked him, "Are you a real cowboy?" They have been inseparable ever since. They are such a sweet couple and so in love! They traveled to Colorado to have a mountain wedding, but sadly the low clouds & mountain showers persisted all day. Thankfully, the rain let up briefly for their ceremony and a few outdoor shots!

A couple weeks ago I photographed Kate & Ben's engagement portraits in Boulder. I had such a great time hanging out with them! They are so genuine and down-right lovable! I can't wait for Ryan to meet them! We will be photographing their wedding this August at the Koenig Alumni Center at CU.

Christy & Josh had a such a beautiful wedding! Their ceremony was at the South Suburban Christian Church in Littleton. Christy looked amazing and Josh was so excited to claim her as his bride! The reception followed at the Denver Marriott at Park Meadows where they danced the night away. Ryan & I were so honored to be a part of their special day! We had such a wonderful time getting to know them & their amazing friends & families!
